So I have put 46 hours into Silksong so far. I never completed Hollow Knight and just noticed I only did 28 hours. Weak...

Aaaaaaa!!! I made it out of Act 1 of Silksong. When I started the game this was the only goal I had (I feel I have no hope of completing it.) So now we're all in bonus gameplay til I run out of enthusiasm.

The first step in getting through a giant project, is creating a tickbox spreadsheet with pretty coloured conditional formatting... If this task is done, colour this box a lovely colour. If the task is not done it'll stay boring and plain.

"Bluesky is boring." Social media *should* be boring. Being algorithm and dopamine poisoned is bad, actually. When your feed dries up for the day, that's your cue to go do something else until new stuff shows up later.

This. If you ask an artist to quote for a job, we need to know your expectations are up front. Creative work is hard to price because it might just be a straightforward rendering of a client's clear brief at an hourly rate, but if you're looking for IDEAS, how do I assess what it's worth to you?

This. I LOVE you for it if you name your budget and deadline right away and I am 1000% more inclined to collaborate with you and figure out a way to make it work within these metrics.
