Well beat Dispatch. Enjoyed the story, not sure it's a game honestly, probably gonna keep mulling that over. Big surprise the ace got the "kept romance out of the workplace" achievement lol Not bad but game of the year is a real stretch.

Also, while I'm at it since they're both 50% off right now Dragon Quest builders 1 and 2 were extremely fun definitely worth checking out!

Ok rolled credits on Dragon Quest 2 HD-2D. An absolute masterpiece. A wonderful blend of modern conveniences and classic RPG mechanics. Charm and heart for days. A gift to retro gamers, and a perfect jumping on point for younger ones.

I think the fact that people aren't playing DQ 1 and 2 is wild, what they did to these games is like the difference between DragonBall Goku and late season DBZ Goku, it's bonkers

Rolled credits on Dragon Quest 1 2D HD, took about 25 hours. My single complaint is man those bosses post level 25 are rough, maybe dial them back a bit lol Ultimately though an amazing game. 15/10 Masterpiece. On to DQ2!

The Outer Worlds 2 skill check system is not great. Having a hard number you have to hit to pass and is otherwise a fail ensures annoyance if you have been putting a reasonable amount of points into something

Outer Worlds 2 feels like this team's Divinity, like its a good game sure, but if you gave this team the right IP they would make a masterpiece

I think the biggest lesson modern gaming has taught me is that I don't need to read the entire planet's reviews of something. People think they can be critics, but it actually takes talent to consistently and accurately critique a game. The slop you read on Steam is embarrassing.
