The news I got about my body was worse than I thought. But at least I'm off work for a few days now.

My body has basically crashed out on me. I can't avoid it any longer, I have to go to see someone who maybe can fix it. I just hope they'll be able to fix it...

I've worked 40+ hours since Sunday. 6.5 hours Sunday, 12 hours Monday, 13.5 hours Tues, 9.5 hours Wed. I was supposed to also have worked Saturday but I've been having panic attacks and health issues. Total sleep since Sunday night? 16.5 hours. 2026 can start with my being dead to the world.

No real update on the burnout but I did at least set an appointment with a doctor for next month. Now if I can just figure out how to make it to next month without disintegrating.

Feeling so burnt out these days. So burnt out that I literally woke up after 6 hours of sleep this morning, fell asleep in the bathroom trying to get ready for work, and then slept another almost 6 hours afterwards. I feel so tired and yet I don't have a lot of choices but to pretend I'm fine.

Only been two weeks at this job and I'm already tired of how long every day is. I was told it's the slow season. I didn't realize slow season meant 10-11 hour days. Can't wait to see what the busy season is then.

Look, I absolutely support all the protestors who went out this weekend. I absolutely do. But the collective effort of 7 million changed as much as an AI-based video response. Protesting no longer works when our leaders don't listen to it. We need to do something different. But I don't know what.

Back on the two-job train. Gosh our economy is wonderful. Anyone else remember when you only needed one job to make it?

Was genuinely not expecting to have any traction on my last series of posts, so thank you all for engaging with it and liking it. I stand by what I said and I will add that I really do want to meet furries who are POC to both provide a safe space and to help me to understand new perspectives too.

Not speaking as a POC furry because I'm not one, but the amount of support they get should be a lot higher than what is actually there. I can't say I feel like I'm the best person to speak on the matter, I barely speak at all in the fandom anymore, but everyone deserves love and support.

Explaining to my boss that because they won't give me reasonable accommodations for my job out of safety concerns that I'm not making a dangerous and sleep deprived drive to work. I shouldn't have to do this, my former boss within the company and every boss I had after my last accident believed me.
