Working this week on the #ZooSize project at the @urjc.bsky.social with @zzeynepersoy.bsky.social. We are getting close to the final dataset structure: 6 tables that will allow users to cross informations on lake’s characteristics, water quality, zooplankton size and biomass for 400+ lakes.

I am new to use of Earth Observation satellites to map carbon emissions, but w/ companies like GHGSat and CarbonMapper, we can now detect plumes of CO2 or methane from space. Here are some WILD examples, up to 100,000, 120,000, 160,000, and even 479,000 kg of CO2 per hour! #ClimateChange
