Remind me to do a thread on police crowd control formations. This is known as the "crossbow" formation, a riot police at the front with a column formed up behind it. The column will burst through the front to surprise the crowd. Often used as an arrest team to grab someone, sometimes for shock.

Norway has been amazing but after two weeks here it's time to head home to the island. It's kind of painful to leave a place that actually cares about its citizens and their welfare.

It's been difficult not being able to watch the Panthers while traveling (the games start at 2am here), but waking up in Tromsø to see that they're going back to the Cup finals again was fantastic.
