Damn, got a cold sore coming after for what seemed like hours of stretchy mouth at the dentist yesterday. Not had one of those for years! FFS!

Twitching to get on with the painting, might have to go tackle a door frame and hope it's not too hot. Managed to get some of the ex plate rack de waxed earlier. Got to decide what to do with the missing tongue and groove bit in the middle next.

Gave up doing anything today, too hot to paint the kitchen so gave up and did something I never do in the daytime and watched a film. Watched Project Hail Mary. Absolutely loved it. Best sci-fi film I've seen in ages.

Coffee and 3 dunked digestives at last now I'm thawing out but giving up on the day and doing something I never do and retiring to the lounge to watch films. Too hot to paint kitchen now anyway.

I so need a cup of tea or coffee but my mouth is frozen solid after the dentist, as if I didn't feel miserable enough after that trauma!

Phew! First coat on 2 walls looks grey in pic but it's a grey/sage green.That said really hard picking a colour in my kitchen as it's north/south windows so colour changes massively. Not helped by my extremely picky colour radar, white isn't white. Used as much body water as a data centre mind you!

At least I can laugh at my ADHD now I know it's not insanity or dementia. Today's mission is to get old plate rack refurbished so went to get it. Instead, watered plants, trimmed huge tom plants, bit of weeding. Put new solar pump in little pond. 1/2 hour later back to house, no plate rack. Coffee?🤣

That was a nice surprise, many of you won't get this but an Indian Street food van was at the pub, I'd forgotten until I took the dogs out. A rare treat for me to have a takeaway and can't even remember the last time I ate out. Living alone takeaways are too expensive to be delivered. Was lovely!

Gremlin insisted on a walk, the mad muppet! 10.00 and still 27 degrees. Far more humid than yesterday so it had to be the field across the field but it meant trousers and boots for me to avoid the nettles. Got back and a tom plant had keeled over. No sign of foxy, always a worry (came late phew!)

I'm bored now. Too hot to get on with painting the kitchen, paint was drying too fast and dragging on Monday. Nearly finished the lion but got bored sewingit up. Nearly finished a gecko but bored with that now. Plants need planting and weeds need weeding.

I could win awards for my comedy cooking, thought I would rustle up a pasta salad thing while the sun's shining and Agile at a ridiculously high rate later. Had run out of toms and salady stuff but have a glut of home grown cukes. I can cook, hate it and autistic me rarely ventures far. 1/3

Just got back from a quick dog walk even though I told Indi it was too hot but she insisted. Yikes, hottest I've been all day and almost 10pm . The walk was reminiscent of 28 Days Later, not a soul about but suspect the zombies might crawl out of the pub later. The humidity is the killer at the mo.

Seems I need to rig up something for the afternoon/evening sun on the side of the conservatory windows as well, even though blinds are closed on the inside where it's hitting the glass it's significantly hotter than where I've shaded the outside so warming up in here now even with the air con unit.

Fogarty moaning about schools closing for a couple of days due to the heat. Honestly people are clueless, unless they have tried to teach in 30+ degree heat with no air flow hardly any fans, 30+ humans in a small space, no air con and surrounded by tarmac just shut the f up with your daft ideas.

How conventient for political journalists, to all be gathered in Downing Street once more, so they can interview each other, to ask "how did this happen?", without ever acknowledging that, at least in part, they themselves are how this happened.
