I feel like I’ve been shouting this into a void. Very few people seem to care about free speech when their ideological enemies are speaking.

We’ve got a friend in Wisconsin who said she wasn’t worried about potential cuts to Medicaid because she and her 3 kids don’t need it - they’re on BadgerCare. She was stunned when I told her they were all on Medicaid. Protecting people from shame by renaming MA has definite downsides.

We’re going to hear lots of stories about which people, policies and rhetoric are to blame for the Democrats’ defeat. Some of those stories may even be true! But an underrated factor is that 2024 was an absolutely horrendous year for incumbents around the world 👇
