Ah well... I didn't notice it was already this late in the month (where did the time go???😭), I don't think I'll have any new art so I guess I can fill it now! I've been using the same old and lazy template since 2011, I should... update for a cool one, but not this year 😂

I haven't been drawing much lately because I was too tired after work, but now the "contaminated by a virus and trying very hard not to be sick" arc begins, and it means going to bed at 7 or 8 pm since monday. 😔

I discovered that I am an "introvert" only recently, but now I know why I am super choosy when it comes to making friends, and it means I have zero interest in making insincere friendships (especially for interests). Which also means that when I befriend someone, it's because I have fun with them.

I just wanted to see how my old OC would look with my current style. Random fact: since the story was all about a character looking like another one, I had to use some specific features because I have same-face syndrom 😂 and decided to use droopy eyes and wavy hair.

I used my pencil as much as I could with my pencil extender, but I can't sharpen it anymore, so I guess it's time for it to retire! Thank you for serving me all this time. 👏

(Male) Alear - Fire Emblem Engage This one took forever to draw (I ended up giving up on the pose I wanted initially because it just wouldn't go right orz) and to paint especially because I was sick and only painted little by little whenever I woke up to eat 😥 Glad I could finish it!

It's my first day with no fever so I left the bed, but I still feel like shit because of sinusitis 🥺 (it hurts behind my eyes lmao) and the first dish I cook is tempura orz I should have gone for the pasta. 😅

I've been bedridden since yesterday but one annoying neighbour (maybe his kid though) is playing the same music again and again and again, which woke me up and now it annoys me too much to sleep 😭😭😭 also I hope it's not covid, but it doesn't feel like a regular cold from how bad I'm feeling orz

Enjoying the process of creating art, even when it is hard, is the entire reason to do it in the first place. It should be fun. If someone's entire reason for wanting to be an artist is to be handed the result, then it will never be a satisfying endeavor. That is a spiritual dead end.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. If you think artists are just "naturally talented", you're deeply wrong. The only difference between you and us is that we kept trying when it didn't come out like we hoped. You can always make art yourself. There's no bad time to start, you can start now.

Things shouldn’t be easy from the get go, if they were no one would find any feeling in what they do. Frustration is just as important as that satisfaction in the process of making art! The struggle to communicate an idea is the point, “solving” it instantly defeats that in the worst way
