The U.S. invaded Venezuela and abducted their president. Trump openly threatened a “large-scale strike,” signaling destruction, civilian casualties, and the use of overwhelming military force as a display of raw power. This must be opposed NOW—not later, not quietly, but openly and in the streets.

When I teaching the Holocaust I note the Holocaust museum’s definition of a concentration camp is a prison whose inmates are denied due process. These are by definition concentration camps.

a thought about trump v. slaughter. it is largely unspoken, but the assertion that there is an unlimited presidential removal power and that independent agencies functionally cannot exist is an assertion of presidential sovereignty.
