My first purchase at a mall in 2026 was a Nintendo Wii game at GameStop. I was surprised to see Wii, Wii U, DS, and 3DS games. I know some locations have special retro game sections but this isn't one of those. I collect video pinball games and it was too cheap to pass.

I bought a Chromebook for $25 a few weeks ago. It's been handy for light writing on the couch and looking stuff quickly. It's small size also makes it great in the kitchen.

For me it's Encarta 95. That was the first Microsoft Home thing I had when I was a kid. I have a few now. I buy them when I'm out at thrift stores. They're fun to mess around with. I think my favorites so far are "Julia Child: Cooking With Master Chefs" and "Microsoft Complete Gardening".
