Mamdani being a huge coward when it comes to trans youth is genuinely enraging. They will tell us with a straight face how hard it is. Do you know how hard it is for a trans youth who has had to move states and had 3 providers drop them and now has no options? Try that.

Understated consequence of this: how can you convince your hospital board that it must keep offering trans youth care if one of the leftmost politicians in America set his new clinic at 19 and over? It sets a horrible precedent.

1) countless trans kids are going to needlessly suffer because of this. 2) 18 year olds are ADULTS – so your conceding (as Trump admin hoped by setting 19 at age) that restricting care for trans adults is fine. 3) this goes against the recommendations of most medical professional organizations...
