New book on the history of peripheral centralities and suburban utopias/failures, ed. by Nick Phelps, @rkeil.bsky.social & @planographer.bsky.social. Our chapter uses Lefebvre's notion of centrality to examine Madrid's informal settlements and their impact on urban policy under a Fascist regime.

One of is not my favourite #modernist building in #Perth. #CouncilHouse is the hole of the #CityofPerth. Designed by Howlett & Bailey Architects, Council House opened in 1963. In the 1990s the state govt recommended its demolition. The SOAC2009 Welcome Reception was held here on 11th floor.
