Let them know you're filming them and keep asking the key questions: "Do you have a warrant signed by a judge? Show me." "Do you have a badge? Show me." "Do you know how pathetic you are? You showed me."

Italy's "There's Still Tomorrow" is not to be missed. Writer/director/star Paola Cortellesi's low-budget homage to Neo-Realism made more $ than "Barbie" and is in the top 10 successes in Italian history. 👏 Also, brilliant.

Last called US House race was won by 187-vote margin. Candidates in the still-going-through-recount (but incumbent Democrat Allison Riggs in lead) North Carolina Supreme Court race are separated by 734 votes. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like showing up to vote doesn’t matter. It does.

Justice Kagan characterizes the Tennessee law as: “We want boys to be boys and girls to be girls.” The law says the state has an interest in preventing minors from becoming “disdainful of their sex.”

My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today. If you are a cis person, quote this and say why you support trans people and what you are willing to do to support us if the government comes for us.

Why Does No One Understand the Real Reason Trump Won?
It wasn’t the economy. It wasn’t inflation, or anything else. It was how people perceive those things, which points to one overpowering answer.

I find both the "Kamala Harris lost because she's too wokety-woke" and the "Kamala Harris lost because she didn't say she's a Communist and then clarify that she's the same kind of Communist I am" takes to be beneath contempt
