This is the quality of judgment that gets you into the Trump administration, where you can substitute your judgment for the collective knowledge of the medical and scientific communities. I mean, what could go wrong?

I remain appalled that Trump posted a video depicting Michelle and Barack Obama as apes. Whenever I now see Republicans who haven't denounced that, I view them as dangerous moral weaklings who accept loathsome behavior to stay in power and will support his inhumanity as he gets more and more evil.

Very few GOP members of Congress have denounced the racism in Trumps post. They will try to avoid the press for a few days and hope it blows over. So it is imperative that we inundate them with messages explaining that we'll never forget their cowardice in not even speaking up against racism.

The ball should be in the court of the GOP members of Congress -- they must be pushed to choose between defying Trump and being known for embracing racism. I already wrote my Republican representative, to let him know that the world is watching and his career is in the balance.

I can totally see how this racist post was an error. I mean, Trump made some overtly racist comments about Somalis (saying their immigrants are garbage) and thought the US was comfy with that level of racism and erroneously thought that the ape video wasn't going to cause such a fuss.

The identity of the unnamed staffer is coming into view, and there's some intrigue. She appears to be someone with whom Trump has a romantic relationship, and she's not a US citizen. That's right, the staffer is Trump's Canadian girlfriend.

The racist post wasn't just removed after an outcry -- first the WH said it was "fake outrage" (i.e., denying that the image was racist) & that it didn't matter. When that didn't work, they blamed a staffer and took down the post. Anyone at all decent would apologize and take it down ASAP.

Voters should know, especially young voters, that these are the words that they say with their boot on your neck, as you try to save enough money for a down payment, which is hard when your rent is so high, which is so high because Republicans keep house prices high. Who makes money? Private equity.

There is 0.0% chance that we will be fooled by a bs compromise in the senate on DHS funding. Package it, put a bow on it, try to sell it however you want. Not gonna work. If you aren’t sure about that, spend more time in your states with constituents.

All this focus on ICE screwing up is really hurting Trump. What he needs now is a major distraction from all things ICE. I want to whisper in his ear, to suggest that he use the ultimate distraction -- he could Release the Epstein Files.

To the Democrats who are already figuring what reforms of ICE they should try to negotiate i exchange for DHS funding, I would ask, "First determine what portions of what they do are good and of value to our country?" Please enumerate some of those to those of us who see only brutality and damage.

Bovino, Noem, & Miller told flat out lies to the country about the shooting, in order to shield the murderers from being caught. If you or I lie to law enforcement in order to hide a culprit, we would be subject to prosecution. Are federal agency heads not subject to consequences for hiding crimes?

Is there anyone who seriously doubts that ICE will continue their murderous ways if they are not abolished?

Kash Patel here is free-styling on the subject of how not to get killed by ICE. This is how a police state works -- the rules for not getting killed by the feds are always post hoc. The real message is that they will rationalize anything they do, so go hide in your homes and try not to get killed.

IMO the most important fact to know from the shooting today is that ICE had already removed the gun from the victim's waistband when they shot him. I am told that the evening news for ABC, NBC, & CBS failed to inform their viewers of this fact. If true, that is an utter failure.

Media: do not lead with the false government framing of what happened

When Bovino, Noem, and Miller lie so outrageously, knowing that video totally contradicts them, that's a statement of their confidence in the MSM. They expect MSM to present this as equivocally as possible, to avoid video that clarifies, and to label factual statements as opinions from Democrats.

If you watch TV news coverage tonight, it should show what Bovino, Noem, and Miller said and also show the video that very clearly contradicts what they said (especially, show that he was disarmed before ICE started firing). If it fails to do that, you are watching state news.

Note to US Senators: This is what Stephen Miller is saying about ICE's lethal performance: He enthusiastically believes that ICE did a great job, a job that needs to be done, and he wants ICE to behave in exactly the same way in the future. If you want more of this, as Miller does, then fund ICE.

I would like for the bunch of them to be in the hands of a group of people who are experts in dealing with kidnappers of five year olds. I say that without equivocation. I suspect that I am not alone in that wish.

Kevin Kiley and the rest of the GOP members of the House (save for Massie) voted to fully fund the enormous budget of DHS. They are on board with ICE's brutality. Picture them standing next to this ICE goon, handing him a fresh can of pepper spray to empty into the face of the man being held down.

Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.
