In an attempt to distract myself from everything I've been listening to tons of @uyquehorror.bsky.social recently. I had no idea the star of La Llorona (Jayro Bustamante, 2019) also is in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Ryan Coogler, 2022)! I didn't like the second BP film, but I should rewatch.

Also, looking for commentary on this, I found the "¡UY QUE HORROR! A Latinx Horror Movie Podcast" and it's lots of fun! They've been going since 2020 and I'm looking forward to learning about more new films.

Thanks to @uyquehorror.bsky.social, I've been watching so many wonderful films! Last night was Brujería (Christopher Murray, 2023), which was just as amazing as they said it'd be. I think it'd make a great double feature with Mami Wata (CJ "Fiery" Obasi, 2023). Run, don't walk to watch this one!
