Today has been an interesting one. My manager messaged me out of the blue, telling me I had a few hours to decide if i wanted to accept a promotion at work. Now I just have to hope that taking it won't cause me to lose too much of my work/life balance to keep making the things I love to make. 😵‍💫

I have tried every method I can find online to try and fix the bug where I can't connect to Marvel Rivals voice chat (speak or hear). God gave me a second chance at all the Overwatch honeys I missed out on and then the devil put me, the best Rocket NA, in a soundproof box.

Marvel Rival's text chat hatemail game is unmatched in creativity. Recently had a healer tell our dps "Go hug a car. You can find one on the interstate." And that has permanently entered my lexicon.

Not sure when the follow-up stream to this will be. Personal stuff makes the next few evenings hard to plan around. But I will "finish" it. (We will be cheesing the rules a bit.)

Ok, so fun little update. I am now technically unemployed. I'm on a 1 month retention contract with no benefits for a little longer, but start of next year, I'll be out of a job. This isn't to beg for anything, just to let you know why some of my priorities are shifting.

The Xbox 360 Kinect is way harder to make work with code than I thought it would be. Might need to put that one back into the "delayed development" bucket.

3 hours of gameplay, half of that in-motion time, with 10,000 steps and we ... made it a little over halfway! I'll be doing another stream sometime this week to try and clear "The Cliff" Sub goals and progress will carry over. I'm not a monster.
