Now that StarFox is coming back here's a reminder to go check out a couple dope games in a similar style on PS1

The character designs will take some getting used to in the new StarFox but I thought the James McCloud crew looked great. Pigma specifically just looks fantastic.

Saw a video where someone compared the PS2 to the PS5 by saying they're similar in that they don't have a lot of exclusives but they do have a ton of great games... Never thought I'd see the day where someone says the PS2 doesn't have a lot of exclusives

My cat is really good about not messing with my video game collection and stuff. But occasionally he plays around with the shelves and he almost always pulls out Mario Galaxy. I think he has great taste.

The Wii is such a great place to start if you're looking to get into collecting games. Almost everything is cheap. Only a select few games are a little expensive and they're not even all great games.

I know this lineup doesn't appeal to everyone but releasing four weird and wacky games like this within the span of a few months is what makes me really enjoy Nintendo.

The box art (and just the art in general) for Knights in the Nightmare is so good. Also just such an underrated game. Really cool mechanics. Man I love the DS.

I just booted up a 3DS for the first time in forever and the 3D still genuinely looks so nice to me. I actually kind of miss it but I understand why it's not really a thing anymore.

Can't believe it's already been almost two months since I put out this video. Didn't gain a ton of traction which I kind of expected given that it's a pretty niche topic (and also I hadn't released a video in 3 years lol) but I'm still super proud of it!

I think everyone knows Club Nintendo Japan had some really cool exclusive rewards but Club Nintendo Europe got a ton of exclusives too. I forgot about the Punch Out gloves and I want this stupid Wii Fit dumbbell water bottle. America got very little in the way of exclusives.

Finally got around to getting some shelves to display my amiibo. Still a few from the Smash set I need and I'll probably be moving things around but I love the way everything turned out. I now have so many empty boxes though.....

I have to use Roblox for a work thing and I've never tried Roblox before. I would never let my kid play Roblox. It's all slop. And I get that most of it is user generated but... yeah I just dislike everything I see.

These Mario Galaxy amiibo really are massive. I honestly think 35 dollars for figures of this quality is not too bad.

The Mario movie would have been enjoyable if I didn't have four 14-16 year olds laughing at literally nothing the entire movie and making Bowser noises because they thought they were being funny. Fox was cool though.

I didn't need to play the Bellabel Park demo Nintendo had at PAX East but I'm glad I did because the multiplayer stuff is genuinely an absolute blast. Their photo op setup was so sick too.

Now that I'm pretty sure we know of all the games Nintendo will have out by the end of the first year of Switch 2 I made another chart comparing it to Nintendo's first year of the original Switch. Really solid first year if you ask me.

This looks like I just asked chatGPT to make me a picture of an old lady wizard with DLSS 5 on. It feels like it completely changes the artistic intent of the artists and devs. I hate it. I understand DLSS has always used generative AI for upscaling but the way it is implemented is important.

I've always wondered what it would be like if a big video game company released a new dedicated handheld that's like... super dated in terms of specs these days. Like actually GBA or DS level specs or something. Development cost would be so low. I think it would be really cool.

I just went to Target and they had no Switch 2's and no copies of Pokopia. This is the first time I've seen Switch 2 consoles sold out since the launch period.

Kinda wild there is commentary about digital vs physical media in Pokopia, a game that is on a game key card.

It's getting harder and harder to really understand the constant negativity surrounding the Switch 2 at this point for me. Yeah things are expensive but as far as games go and support from both first party and third party I think things have been stellar for year 1.

I'm playing Pokopia as if it's PowerWash Simulator or something and I'm progressing very slowly but idc I'm having a blast 😌
