Today I tabled a bill which would require any UK military intervention to have a lawful basis, viable objective, and approval by MPs - legislation the PM once said he himself would pass when he was running for Labour leader. He supported it then, and he should support it now.

The choice is stark. Reform are the party of foreign wars and high bills. The Greens want de-escalation and energy security through renewables. Solar and wind prices don't fluctuate when rogue US presidents launch illegal bombing campaigns.

The majority of people in this country do not want us to be involved in this war. Keir Starmer of a few years ago wouldn't have supported this war. The only reason he does now is he will do anything Donald Trump wants - and it makes us all less safe.

I do struggle to understand Shabana Mahmood: if this was what she came into politics to do, why was it the Labour Party that attracted her? Throughout most of the last 20 years, the Conservatives would've been a much more obvious fit. If it's not, why's she doing it so zealously?

I hate the current tone of public debate on gender and gender dysphoria. Another example where a marginalised group are held to a significantly higher standard and punished for the actions of a few. Without compassionate support, they mostly appear to be a danger to themselves.
