Really didn't enjoy the new Superman movie. Perhaps I'm just too tied to the Reeve versions I watched obsessively as a kid, but this new one was a pretty basic monster/robot sci-fi flick. It lacked heart and emotional resonance.

Reading lots about Pixar's Elio bombing at the box office. Terrible marketing - I'm a film nerd AND a Pixar nerd and I had no idea it was even being made. Cannot say enough about Andor. Brilliant writing and acting, and nuanced storytelling that adds depth and context to a story we thought we knew already. By far the best SW entry since Empire, and only barely in front of Rogue One, which, of course, it seamlessly segues into. Outstanding.
