If someone were impersonating ICE or Border Patrol and was wearing a mask, they wouldn't give you an ID because they don't have one. If ICE and Border Patrol are wearing masks and not giving their ID when asked (they are supposed to), then the reasonable conclusion is that they are impersonators.

Alex was on the ground. After they removed his gun from his pants, an ICE agent stood over him and fired 4 rounds into his back. Another 6 rounds were fired then. 5 seconds elapsed from the 1st shot to the 10th. Wrongful death. Homicide.

We are now witnessing—some of us in incredulous horror—what happens when a society confuses authority with innocence and violence with virtue. We have built legal doctrines that reward escalation. We have granted weapons to institutions without demanding restraint.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Protesters in Los Angeles projected an anti-ICE video onto the Twin Towers, an ICE-linked detention facility where the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department actively collaborates with ICE for deportation screenings.
