I don’t think the Liberals will win going full MAGA-anti-immigration. Australia has compulsory voting which buttresses against extremism. However, they will and already are doing a huge amount of damage to the migrant community in the meantime, and everyone should care about that, including media.

This approval is yet another reminder that Labor won’t stand up to big coal or big gas and take meaningful climate action. They won’t fight for us. Not while they’re beholden to the big fossil fuel corporations that fund their election campaigns.
