Behind the scenes Lando must be so pissed that he’s been with the team so long and that this is happening. I imagine this obsession with fairness is to keep him happy. Concede for this year but Oscar needs to know his place for the future. And it can’t be any worse than absolutely necessary.

The team is so shit that Oscar has to bend over backwards so that they treat him only a little bit unfairly instead of blowing up all chances of winning the championship entirely.

I sense that McLaren are attempting to redefine sportsmanship. Both drivers are going to stay here for a long time so it’s nice for PR/future. But it’s leading to some really weird decisions. Oscar towed Lando out of Q2 and then got overruled in the race, both to his loss. Lame af 😑
