Happy December Nubian Queen Bee and everyone! I had to have a steroid shot yesterday, and they warned me it would affect my mood. I'm coming out of the storm now, but it cost me a night's sleep and some solo growling at the moon, but I'll be ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great day. :)

I'm protestant in name only. Self-discipline is kind of built into me from the ground up. I inherited my father's kindness (but also his hyper-competitiveness), and those two forces are sometimes at odds. The steroid shot threw off the balance a bit, but I'll get it back. :)

Looks like Bitter Gourd / Bitter Melon 😅 Look up recipes from South Asia - I’ve come across it being used in authentic Indian cuisine
