The United States of mad President Trump is ending its relationships with the world's nations. I wish America's people well, of course. But, it's time we Canadians recognize that our future is one that does not include the United States as an economic, cultural, or political partner.

Had a discussion with a local civic activist recently. We disagreed on how to be an effective advocate for social justice, environmental protection, and climate breakdown. Their view was using facts and asking nicely for major policy changes is effective. They couldn't provide any examples.
