Late for day 6 of #FantasyIndiesJuly! OH BOY does Heartlines have some ✨️drama✨️. Forced soulbonds? Traitors seeking to repent? Messed up brothers? A distant neglectful former queen? and possibly the worst - the moon and earth gods hate each other and want a divorce.

Belated day 7 of #FantasyIndiesJuly. Heartlines opens with a traumatic dye job. "Ario's scalp was aching."

Day 8 of #FantasyIndiesJuly! The funniest character in Heartlines is either the protagonist Ario, who's a snarky dude, or Mara, the wolf shifter who is incredibly self-aware. Ario overall has some more zingers, but Mara's just hit different.

Day 4 of #FantasyIndiesJuly! Unsurprisingly I loved some of the GOATS growing up--Road Dahl, Terry Pratchett--and I also ready a lot of the dystopian YA. Scott Westerfeld's Uglies was a fave.

Belated day 3 of #FantasyIndiesJuly (had a power outage) Not many animal friends in Heartlines... however we DO a wolf shifter who ends of being pretty important.

Day 2 of #FantasyIndiesJuly. I have a real soft spot for side characters and minor characters who have super deep lore even if it doesn't serve the plot My 2 faves from Heartlines are side characters. Wolf shifter and atoning traitor? Who needs anything else?
