I’m not one to make resolutions as much as to try to renew commitments to myself for health and happiness. I will manifest and also do the damn work for 2026 to be better, to come out stronger and to create and see the joy.

2025 has been ROUGH, but these sweeties have been by my side every step of the way. Luna greets me each morning giving me nuzzles & waiting for pets and she’s by my feet each night. Diego cuddles on the couch & makes us laugh chasing toys around. They have both brought so much joy into our lives.

I really need a scene with David and Ilya at the table while Shane and his mom are outside talking.

When I came out to my mom as bi nearly 30 years ago, let’s just say she didn’t apologize to me for not making me feel like I could tell her. We’re good now, but that rejection wounded me. In some ways I’m still healing. For a lot of us seeing Yuna so quickly accept Shane meant a lot.

As a people pleaser who worries far too much about everybody else and whose anxiety is something people who said they love me couldn’t always deal with, seeing the way Ilya cares for and supports Shane is so powerful and affirming.

The Cottage episode was everything. It was better than I imagined. I swear it healed something in my broken heart. I can’t even tell you how many times I’m gonna watch that until season two comes out.

Moving forward, if a relationship doesn’t have the goofy energy and mutual cheerleading of Travis and Taylor and the mad chemistry and sweet moments of vulnerability of Ilya and Shane, then I don’t want it or need it.

Fantastic Christmas morning with my girls and now they’re off with my ex, but that’s OK. I’m gonna hang out with Shane and Ilya and get ready for the cottage.
