I used to get such a surge of joy from seeing books about personal pronouns, 2 mommies/daddies, lgbtq+ pride, and what it means to be transgender in the kids section as I shelved nonfiction. Now I'm in mourning as the day we'll probably have to remove them draws ever closer.
