i volunteer a LOT. and often end up organizing others. the WORST is when someone volunteers and then flakes. if more than one person flakes, I end up doing 3+ jobs. it makes me want to cry. but NEVER give up!

Sometimes getting a job offer makes you feel disappointed. It might mean it's not the RIGHT opportunity for you. Sometimes getting a job offer makes you giggle, maybe cry a little, and you have an impulse to say YES. Still ask for at least 2 days to decide so that you can think it through.

In 2023, 14 years after I graduated from law school, I had the ridiculous idea to pursue another degree. It was frustrating and hard especially with an active career. Yesterday, I completed all of the requirements for a Master of Arts in Psychology. So today, I’m toasting myself and my angels.

The BEST thing I did was finally address my teeth. My lower set are crazy, snaggled, molars-abrading, crowded madness for YEARS. I will get a tooth pulled and then braces. I'm oddly excited to think that I will be 50+ and get the nickname "Brace Face". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N.E.R.D.S.

More healing during the #JobSearch break. I watched my son walk for his college graduation. And then I watched another son walk for his high school graduation. I find both of these events miracles in my #parenting journey.

I loved my break from #JobSearch. I went through more of my mom's boxes which helped me grieve and reflect. I weeded and brought back her rose garden which was very healing. I did fail her hydrangeas and the deer had a lovely salad.
