I called this game battleship but capture the flag may be better. 4 groups of students compete simultaneously on 4 different board. They program a Finch to land on the paper, then reprogram, until all spaces have been landed. This is the "quick" version of the winning team. #computerscience #cte

I think a space for reflection is needed before a decision point. Is the new information changing my current belief? Is my current practice working?

I love this reflection on reflection. I find reflecting with @mirrortalk.ai allows every student a voice. I believe helping students become reflective will eventually deepen their learning but it may take some time to develop the habit and see results.

We encourage reflective thinking with students so it makes sense to encourage teachers to do the same thing. #EduSkyChat

An easy tool with no mandate is a great solution. Teacher hate being told to do something, but once you see the solution and other teachers having success then teachers may want to jump on board and try it out too. #EduSkyChat

A2 Burnout! If I don't reflect and look at data then I don't grow and change as a teacher. A reflection may help you see a little tweak or a big change in your teaching that could have a great impact. Feeling a great impact with your students helps make teaching fun and squashes burnout. #EduSkyChat

For my middle school CS students, I teach about bias, ethics, data, and prompt writing. I hope to teach that AI can be used for a lot of tasks but you need to understand how it works to use it safely.
