Problem: the simultaneously cutesy and jargonistic ‘hallucinations’ has become the standard descriptor. It is a word that’s opaque to the lay user in a software context, and implies not just thought but deep and complex artistic thought. I prefer ‘false outputs’ as per quote below, or ‘errors’.

Sadly the UK does not have access to the Criterion channel but we can get the BFI for £65 a year if you’re changing your horizons. Or just get really into DVDs and blurays cos that’s always a fantastic option also especially if you try libraries, second hand or charity shops to save money.
