Just got the "Killed the first Axon" achievement for Expedition 33. That's a good game! I can't play for more than a few hours, my eyes start to go wonky from all the concentration to get Parries. It's somehow even more intense than SF6. Probably because I expect to lose in SF6 & expect to miss DI.

Played about an hour and a half of SF6 on stick today. It's a fun game! I'm still pretty bad! I was happy I was able to integrate neutral fierce to drive rush a few times in a real match.

Square Enix Cafe is returning as a pop up in Paselabo Shinjuku on 9/20! It will be themed around the Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary collaboration! Though the permanent cafe closed earlier this year, it’s good to see it come back in some way.

I played about an hour of SF6, that was nice. Sometimes my internet (AU Mansion something or other) just decides it won't connect to CFN. Games are all fine, all of a sudden "communication error" and I log out. Can't log in again. Kind of sucks; I wanted to play some more.

Played about two hours of SF6 on the HautePad 42X joystick, and enjoyed it. At first I thought the buttons were too small (they are a bit small) and the stick was a bit too close to the buttons (they are), but I am able to get used to it. It's a fun stick. SF6 is a fun game.

I finally got around to buying my first leverless controller just to swap in a stick. I’m excited this could be what I’ve been looking for. A low profile travel capable joystick. I love my DIOI stick, but it is heavy. The Haute 42X is nice quality and light enough to travel.

Btw, I remember there being some anxieties around folks expressing their opinions during primaries. Besides being nowhere near a presidential primary at the moment, now is in fact the time for people to express certain lines they expect candidates not to cross. Protect trans folks.

Came home from work last night, and neither my keyboard nor mouse would work anymore on my gaming Windows machine. Finally got some time to check things out, and it looks like all but TWO rear USB ports (so 5 ports on back, 4 in front) stopped working. What a major pain.
