Yep. Everything is completely broken. Resumes donât tell the story. Job postings are copy and paste, reviewing does not scale, and interviewing is filled with bias.

Update on the job search front, things are not well on the tech hiring front. Here's some stats from my experience: - Over 100 applications and resumes/CVs submitted - 33% of companies auto-reject with no explanation

Always research your candidates! In prep for early voting, I learned that the candidate I thought Iâd vote for was a do-nothing who paid for his current position and is just another rich white dude parading around as âone of the peopleâ. Sorry

When they said tech jobs would be lost to AI, they meant weâd be replaced by AI. What we are seeing is jobs being lost to bad decisions to invest in AI that donât work out. So the company loses money because of AI. AI is costing jobs but not replacing them - just failing to deliver results.

I googled Amtrak trips out of Houston for the hell of it, since Iâm not hopping on a plane anytime soon, And some of those trips are 60+ HOURS LONG!
