Theater/opera person, here: this is likely due to "bleed," which is a phenomenon we're literally trained for. When acting (or in this case, role-playing) a character for a good while and there are intense situations (such as an RPG finale), the emotions of the character can literally become yours!

They intend to do what Steam has already been doing on the Deck: caching shaders on their servers and delivering that cache when downloading games. This could very well be generalized to other systems. (Steam does a lot of invisible stuff to save devs asses, we don't talk enough about this.)
