A few friends from Germany are visiting every spring. We all water ski. A little cooler than normal for South Carolina but water is still 73 Fahrenheit. For me this is the most therapeutic and fun time. Happy Wednesday everyone.

I do not like early candidate speculation for Democrat presidential nominee. First, focus on 2026. Secondly: Democrats need a strong leader. A Superman if you want that has the charisma of a young Barack Obama combined with wisdom, experience and sense of urgency. There is nobody like this today.

Three examples that show the lack of integrity at HHS under RFK Jr: 1. Claimed that 10 kids died because of the COVID19 vaccine, never produced data. 2. Believe that glyphosate causes cancer, say nothing when Trump orders more. 3. Say that leucovorin treats autism, no FDA approval for this.

I like watching crime documentaries like ABC 20/20. I believe many people don't make the connection between action movies and reality. Nothing wrong with entertainment but I think teaching these realities should be middle -high school material. We need to show our kids the consequences of crimes.

I want to once again shout out attorneys like @doritreiss.bsky.social and @weparmet.bsky.social for their endless dedication to fighting for public health through the courts. The process can be slow, but progress is happening.

I love that little Flir Thermal camera that is attached to my mobile device. On a sunny day at 85 degrees (F), I compared a dock with pressure treated wood and a deck with composite that claims to be a cool material. Hardly any difference. Both around 140 Fahrenheit at 4:00 PM.

Am I wrong in assuming that Congress would have to authorize an escalation in the US president's war in Iran? I thought that only short-term, targeted defensive military operations can be authorized by the executive. Anything beyond that can only be ratified by Congress. Not getting my hopes up but🤨
