I went to a rally this morning at city hall to protect our right to protest. City hall is 900 metres from my home. I had to take a taxi there because our sidewalks are impassable in winter in our so called “human rights city.” I tried to roll home but got stuck several times and had to ask for help.

Friend is at City Hall right now, where security told them to remove their jacket because a patch that says "we carry another world in our hearts" is "propaganda."

Went on two walks today FOR MY HEALTH and almost got run over on BOTH. And BOTH times I waved my arms at the drivers but they were in their own worlds looking the opposite direction. And yes I was on the sidewalk with the right of way both times.

Another major piece of the budget: - The incredible Community Connections Space at Millennium is being cruelly defunded to "save" $614k - The transit security force is receiving $750k more this year, with even bigger increases in 2026/27 They're defunding actual safety solutions for cops/security.

I'm very supportive of the delegations today but I'm a little worried that folks are throwing their support in for a new bridge because of their bike commute. Rail relocation would be a huge for the North End - especially since we are all living next to a big toxic mess.
