Australia obsesses over "welfare dependency". Meanwhile govt support for wealth includes: Superannuation tax concessions $52B Capital gains tax discount $11B Negative gearing $5B That's about $68 billion a year, mostly benefiting the richest Aussies. That's the welfare worth talking about.
