As an owner of a petrified dog. I’d love to see legislation come in banning loud fireworks. Everyone seems to be letting off public fire display fireworks in their back gardens pretty much all year round. It’s bollocks. Bring back Sparklers, Roman candles and Catherine wheels.

Re watched Longlegs last night to see if act 3 made anymore sense but alas still felt like a clunky conclusion. Great stylish horror film though, with the great Maika Monroe as lead and a strong villain in Cage.

BBC gave us 70s kids a great film education, their late night film schedules were fantastic.Woody Allen films on regularly, remember almost dying with laughter watching the Sleeper. So when Annie Hall came to the cinema my dad took the 11 yr old me to see it & I fell instantly in love with Ms Keaton

Re-Watching Hereditary, one of the greatest horror films ever made with one of the greatest misdirections ever put to film. As someone put on here. The opening scene where Toni Collette buries her mum is the happiest she will be in the entire film.

What a gig!! @edwyncollins.bsky.social was imperious, his vocals were beautiful, the band was magnificent and the set was end to end bangers. And to cap it all me and my Bessie mate Paul got to meet the man himself! Emotional!!! I refuse to believe this is his last tour 🙏

I’ve got a little exhibition of sketches and ink drawings starting in Harrogate this weekend than at my Gallery in 3 weeks time ❤️

My first ever paid gig and a fantastic learning ground to hone my drawing skills and work on ‘gag’ writing . Got £50 cash per zine and did 8-10 cartoons per issue. It lead on to a regular weekly slot in the Sheffield Telegraph which I did for 20 years and got paid £20 a cartoon 😩😅 great times ❤️
