I was wondering yesterday why President Pervert called for only a 10% global tariff for 150 days when he's allowed 15%. Too bad he figured it out, but it's still a nice bit of relief for my customers...but, not for me having to officially change all of our pricing for the U.S. again. 🤦‍♂️ #Tariffs

Back of the envelope: a 10% global tariffs could mean a large increase in total tariff revenues compared with IEEPA. Would raise $433b if applied to all imports. $343b if only applied to goods. IEEPA tariffs brought in $175b in '25, though that might not have been a full year. Could be exemptions.

That was painful to watch and, ultimately, doesn't help my employer one bit as he contradicted himself by, late in the press conference, saying he would hold deals made under IEEPA...and goodness knows how long the U.S. Trade Representative office will take to publish the new rules #SCOTUS #Tariffs
