Kezz's family never left Gridania. He became a scholar/archaeologist in Gelmorra to preserve his people's history and culture. An AU where he went to Limsa instead of Ul'dah and became one of Morroyo's students, opting to revive Nymian battle tactics and perfecting them in the field.

For Lewin, there's the Bad End AU where he goes on a rampage as a Dark Knight and has to be put down. There's also an AU where his mother took him to Ishgard with her (instead of him growing up in Gridania) and he becomes an highly skilled Inquisitor in the Holy See...and not one to be crossed.

What if Morroyo never became an Arcanist or a Healer? He was a warrior in the M Tribe before he came to Limsa...what if he STAYED one and trained at the Marauder's Guild instead? He was a lot more hotheaded and ready to fight when he was younger. I can see him becoming a pirate or a mercenary.

Morroyo's background with (his version of) the M Tribe. Also Limsa pre-Calamity. Who were the Admirals before Merlwyb? What was Limsa like BEFORE she banned piracy? What was the Rogues Guild like when they were still the Upright Thieves? How did Morroyo make all his social connections before ARR?

Morroyo hasn’t had any questions like that but he had someone blast him on the ‘other site’ for not having an “appropriate Sun Seeker name.” He has one now, but I still call him Morroyo. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lewin went in as a Scholar during the new raid...and miraculously DIDN'T DIE ONCE (came REAAAL close once or twice though). 😆 No spoilers, but this is the most commendations he'd ever had for ANY raid as a Healer, from ARR-DT. 😁

I got back earlier from visiting family over Christmas/Boxing Day. It was a very mixed visit. My family is OK but they're notorious for hiding things until it isn't possible to hide them anymore. I was thrown for a complete loop. My dad did his usual cooking and at least I got to eat good food! 😋

Morroyo is my canonical WoL/Azem. He's an older WoL and his story doesn't match in-game MSQ. He'd do what he does now even if he WASN'T the WoL: teach, heal and travel. He does think about retiring, but being Azem, it won't be anytime soon.

/3 It was a warning for what was to come. Needless to say, it freaked the thug out, but he kept on doing what he did. A few days later, the Yellowjackets found his body strung up on a halyard in Limsa harbour. Morroyo heard about the incident, and had his suspicions, but Kezz never confirmed it.

/2 As for Kezz... He heard of the Lominsan thug and went to investigate. The thug dealt with smuggling, slavery and chocobo racing. Kezz saw the man kill a chocobo that wouldn't submit and decided to teach the thug a lesson. He pulled a 'Godfather' thing. The thug woke up next to a chocobo head.

/1 OK, Morroyo and Kezz lore: For Morroyo, #3 ALMOST happened, but it didn't. But he found a strange looking herb not far from Idyllshire. It seemed okay after analysis. Being a culinarian, he decided to see it if it could be used in cooking. Turned out it was mildly hallucinogenic. Whoops. And-

Morroyo was invited to Limsa by Master Rafael Baquiran to study arcanima. TECHNICALLY, it wasn't his first job. His mother is Huntsmaster for the M Tribe, and Morroyo first trained with the axe. Lewin was trained as a BRD by Master Jehantel. He later picked up White Mage, Viper and Dark Knight.
