We had a great consulting meeting today with a special consultant for our West Marches campaign. (I won’t divulge their identity just in case they wish to remain anonymous.) I used #Daggerheart combat in my #DnD game today (roleplay-style and no initiative) without warning my players. Afterwards, my players all said the combat was the best part of the session. Two even texted me an hour later to tell me how they were still talking about how fun it was. #TTRPG

Just ran my first D&D game after running a Daggerheart mini-campaign and, I have to say, it’s really tough to go back. Combat in D&D just feels SO slow and clunky comparatively 😬 Anyone else experience that?

Daggerheart GMing tip: When players roll with Fear, tell them how much you appreciate the Fear token they just let you get, and how much you're looking forward to using it for something really special. Pet the Fear token lovingly before dropping it into your Bowl of Fear with an audible clink.
