That's the trick with accountability, people bring up shit because they have hope. They believe it can be addressed and that changes are possible. Defensiveness is destructive because people are trying to warn or address issues with you in good faith. Shutting them out does more harm. 6/9

After being made aware of some of this harm, and after many discussions with folks I am very grateful to be building community with, I made the difficult decision yesterday to pull out of GMing for this event. I didn’t announce it publicly at the time because I didn’t want to cause more harm (1/3)
