The west coast is extremely car centric, but the highway rest stops are so wanting. Unheated dirty bathrooms with no mirrors and no food beside vending machines. Meanwhile, Texas and Ohio have these super center rest stops that are destinations unto themselves.

I’m sure this won’t reach the target audience, but my PSA is that a woman outside alone at 9:30pm does not want a strange man to approach her. Not in a deserted parking lot, not when you’re on a bike ride and she’s walking her dog on the same dark, quiet street, not in any other dark situations.
