For millennia, the last month of the year has been a time in all ancient cultures to reflect on the year and, above all, on oneself, and to become familiar with the darkness in order to recognize the new light and bring it forth.

Winter has a way of reminding us of what we usually ignore. It strips the world of its colors and shows us what remains when everything unnecessary falls away. In the cold, we feel more clearly whom we miss and what truly warms our hearts.
