Social media is trending towards unusable (perhaps that's the point). You'll need 10 different forms of ID for the age verification that will inevitably fail. And if you somehow manage to get past that, you'll have to dodge the hundreds of mandatory warning screens tacked on to every post.

Here's an example of how useless and frustrating internet laws to "protect kids" are in practice: When I'm in Ohio, where I am during the holidays, I can't use my Bluesky DMs—unless I hand over my ID to a company owned by Epic Games. Why? To protect kids, of course!
