Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face. If Congress actually cared about what it's seeing, it could pass that overnight.

This isn't even the first impeachable offense Noem has committed, but given how hard impeachments are... I'd take it. (her comments about 'liberating' California and the assault on Senator Padilla she ordered at the time should also have been impeachment material, quite frankly...)
