The prophecy is finally coming true!

20th Century Studios Animation has officially announced that a second Simpsons Movie is finally happening and revealed it’ll be released on July 23, 2027! I was not expecting this at all knowing a follow up has been in development hell for two decades, but I am very interested!

I don't understand why some people keep calling films like "The Iron Giant" and "The Emperor's New Groove" underrated. Many praise them nowadays and despite underwhelming box office results, they got praised by critics. I don't think people know what the word means anymore.

I know this will hardly be a surprise but Raja Gosnell is a better editor than a director.

I’m so sick of people complaining about no originality anymore. And no, I’m not saying just shut up and consume products. I mean, be constructive and recognize that there have always been remakes, sequels and adaptations.

I was rewatching Revenge of the Sith and I’m with Tony Goldmark. I would buy Anakin turning to the dark side if he hadn’t said “What have I done” after helping Palpatine kill Windu. The fact that he was conflicted doesn’t make sense to me.

I never bought that reasoning tbh. There was over a year gap between Ninjago (the only one of those 2 spinoffs to flop) and LEGO 2 so audiences already forgot about it by then. So I don't think that was a big factor.

If someone decided not to watch entertainment because the media corporation that produces it does something shady and unethical, they're going to have nothing left to watch. Art is the work of the creators. The corporation is there to foot the bill and get it released.

100% this. This is why it's so important to ignore doomerism and not give up in advance. Keep protesting and resisting. Celebrate the wins when you can. Be realistic, but I also think that nihilism and being miserable all the time does not help.

I’m so sick of people gassing up things from their childhood as automatically better than current stuff. What really gets me is that there are legitimate problems but they think that everything was better back then. Also, the reason they do this is because they miss their childhood which is fine.
