On Wednesday, Reform's Richard Tice wrote to energy companies saying the party would "seek to strike down" existing subsidies for renewables if it takes power. 24 hours later he was on the BBC suggesting people had "misread" the letter and "a legally binding contract is a legally binding contract".

What a (some might say cynical) journey the latest chairman of Reform UK has been on when it comes to his denial of climate change! In 2017, he tweeted a link to this article in Time...

New runways at London airports would result in cumulative emissions of around 92m tonnes of extra CO2e by 2050, if the number of flights increases in line with their operating company targets. Carbon Brief’s analysis covered by Anushka Asthana on

For this edition's 'spotlight', I spoke to a young female journalist from Kenya’s Dadaab refugee complex. Via the camp's radio station, Fardowsa is documenting how, more and more, people are arriving in her community because of climate change.

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
