By the time I'm done writing this story, I will have reviewed about three dozen files in this court case, which is admittedly a fraction of the total exhibits and docket items submitted in the case so far. My story will be 1,000 words, summarizing these and the court hearings. Journalism is absurd.

Summary: LAPD moved on protesters after calling 2 or 3 dispers orders over a 30-45m period as 100-150 people remained. Otherwise, I saw no violence from protesters. LAPD mounted on horses moved in and some standing officers fired less lethals. Crowd ran. Police blocked three sides of intersection.

Sergeant Madison tells me a dispersal order is coming in 5 to 10 minutes, this was at 6.58pm. Once it's called, folks have 15 min to leave, though likely police will call several more, he told me.
