I think I gotta move my game from unity to a C engine I'd be making. this is out of necessity bc it'd make the process alot easier to port it to DOS down the line. I'd have to really iron out the architecture too to switch between libraries and such. im learning. big up punkveria

what's the math for creating a 4K raytracing 3D 60fps game engine on my grandma's MSDOS

#gamedev "thoughts" 173 permacomputing has sent me into a spiral the last month on finding out what is possible gamedev wise for MSDOS, since its so widely available and low level. I wonder how many more tools we'd have made now, within those limitations, if we hadn't all moved to windows.

RE4 was 4.4 gigs and ran within the ps2's 32 megs of ram, can we go this hard again
