They say Democrats need good candidates all the way down the ballot. They say going progressives need to run for office, too. I checked both those boxes off today. I just filed to run for Texas's Fourteenth Court of Appeals, an intermediate appellate court here in Houston. www.adams-hurta.com

My hot take is that appellate court decisions should not be so super predictable even without any knowledge of the non-surface facts or any of the underlying case law and jurisprudence.

I'm just not fit to be a LinkedIn poster. Re-shared a post sharing a Texas Law Review article that sounded interesting to me & made some comments about bookmarking it. I should have recognized why it sounded so interesting. We voted to publish it when I was a Texas Law Review Articles Editor.

Anyone have a theory on why SCOTUS is taking as long as it is to rule on the Texas redistricting motion to stay? (Beyond administrative stay). Just taking the time to draft opinions, or something else?
